ELEVEX Konya Elevator and Technologies Exhibition was held with great success at Tüyap Konya International Fair Center between May 22-25. Organized by Vizyon Sectoral Fuarcılık, ELEVEX 2024 brought together the latest technologies and business opportunities in the elevator and escalator industry with exhibitors and visitors.

ELEVEX 2024, which took place on 38,000 square meters of exhibition area for four days, exhibited the latest technologies of the elevator and escalator industry and strengthened business ties between exhibitors and visitors.

Konya Chamber of Commerce President Selçuk Öztürk, Konya Chamber of Industry President Mustafa Büyükeğen, Construction Contractors Confederation (İMKON) Deputy Chairman Mustafa Şahin, elevator industry association presidents and many industry professionals attended the opening ceremony.

Selçuk Öztürk, President of Konya Chamber of Commerce, expressed his satisfaction that Konya is hosting an organization such as ELEVEX 2024 and stated that the sector is making great efforts to realize Turkey's elevator and elevator parts export targets.

Öztürk noted the following:

“The elevator sector is one of the rare sectors in Turkey that gives export surplus. Approximately 40 percent of the sector's production and exports are made from Konya. I would also like to thank the authorities of Vizyon Sectoral Fuarcılık for bringing together exhibitors and visitors from all over Turkey and foreign countries in our city by bringing such a beautiful organization to our city.”

Konya, which has become an important center in Turkey's elevator industry, further strengthened its strong position in international markets with ELEVEX Konya Elevator and Technologies Exhibition. Approximately 40 percent of the sector's production and exports are made from Konya, and elevator exports from Konya increased by 25 percent last year and had a significant share in the city's total export revenues. In a statement made by Konya Chamber of Industry, it was stated that the city's elevator manufacturers have gained worldwide competitiveness thanks to their high quality standards and innovative technologies.

Mustafa Büyükeğen, President of Konya Chamber of Industry, stated that ELEVEX is an important organization for the sector and said, “More than 200 companies have opened stands at the fair. There are also participants from countries such as China, Iran, Germany, America, India, United Arab Emirates and Kazakhstan. Nearly half of the nearly 500 million dollars of exports in the sector are made from our city. Hopefully, with the new collaborations to be provided at this fair, these figures will go higher. As Konya Chamber of Industry, we will continue to support ELEVEX Konya Elevator and Technologies Exhibition.”

A total of 203 exhibitors from 7 different countries and Turkey took part in ELEVEX. In the first edition of ELEVEX, which was visited by 21,507 industry professionals from Turkey and 45 countries, the number of foreign visitors, which was 4,171, gave the first edition a global dimension.

The summit of vertical transportation technologies

ELEVEX Konya Elevator and Technologies Exhibition exhibited complementary product groups of many sectors such as Machine & Motor Systems, Control Systems, Signaling & Electronic Systems, Cabin & Carcasses, Landing & Cabin Doors, Rails & Accessories, Suspension Ropes & Balancing, Escalators & Roads and Package Elevators. The exhibitors introduced their new products and presented the innovative development of the sector and innovative, sustainable technology to the visitors.

Organized by Vizyon Sectoral Fuarcılık in Konya with the support of the elevator industry, the fair showcased all innovations related to vertical transportation technologies, escalators and moving walkways, from residential and commercial building elevators to hospital elevators, from domestic elevators and personal carriers to auto elevators, from freight and service elevators to disabled elevators.
