The opening ceremony of ELEVEX 2024 Elevator and Technologies Exhibition was held at Konya Chamber of Commerce International Fair Center.

Konya Chamber of Commerce President Selçuk Öztürk expressed his satisfaction for hosting the organization at the opening ceremony of the fair.

Explaining that Konya companies are making efforts to realize Turkey's elevator and elevator parts export targets, Öztürk said:

“Approximately 40 percent of the sector's production and exports are made from Konya. Expressing that we find this figure important, I congratulate our companies from Konya. We will fulfill all our duties to make Konya Elevator and Technologies Exhibition one of the world's leading exhibitions in the future. We believe that our sector representative associations and companies will also contribute to this goal by embracing this fair.”

Mustafa Büyükeğen, President of Konya Chamber of Industry, stated that the fair is an important organization for the sector and said, “Nearly 200 companies have opened stands in the fair. There are also participants from countries such as China, Brazil, Germany, Russia and India. Nearly half of the 500 million dollars of exports in the sector is made from our city. Hopefully, with the new collaborations to be provided at this fair, these figures will go higher. As Konya Chamber of Industry, we will continue to support the fairs.”

Innovations related to vertical transportation technologies, escalators and roads, from residential and commercial building elevators to hospital elevators, from domestic elevators and personal carriers to auto elevators, from freight and service elevators to disabled elevators will be exhibited at the fair.

The fair will be open until May 25.
